About Us
The Western Australian Quidditch Association was formed in 2011 and officially incorporated in 2014. We are a not-for-profit organisation aiming to expand the sport of quidditch in WA. The WAQA is the official governing body for quidditch in WA under the Australian Quidditch Association (AQA).
We currently run three official teams in Perth; the Murdoch Mandrakes, the UWA Undesirables, and the Perth Phoenixes. The Curtin Chimeras and ECU Centaurs are currently inactive. Talk to us about joining a team or getting your own started in your area!
Quidditch is a mixed gender sport, we accept all genders to play with us! We prefer players to be at least 16 years old to play officially but otherwise there are no restrictions. So what are you waiting for? Join a team and be a part of this inclusive and growing community today.
